Colour, texture and relaxed furniture bring the rhythm of the coast into Tanjong Beach Club on Singapore’s Sentosa Island.
Orange parasols and yellow daybeds sit alongside the green tones of the pool, giving the beach club a bright coastal character. Inside, timber furniture and a softer palette connect the dining spaces with the life around the water.
Reimagined by Akin Atelier, the venue draws on the atmosphere of a mid-century beach house. Different places to sit, dine and gather give the setting variety while keeping the broader design connected.
Workshop’s involvement centred on furniture procurement, with the project bringing together seating, sunbeds and tables. These pieces help define the different settings across the club, from a place to stretch out beside the pool to a table shared with friends.
